Flash Review: Unspeakable – Abbie Rushton

Unspeakable by Abbie Rushton is a novel full of interesting but realistic characters. It has more than one theme; on one hand it is about the mysterious secrets and happenings that the protagonist experiences – on the the other hand it is of the slow process of a girl falling in love with another girl. In the novel these two themes are both completely seperated, but at the same time fits each other very well.

I found the novel, which is about a huge secret that must not be told to anyone, to be a bit slow with its revelations though. It was extremely secretive until the end, which made me quite impatient, because it meant that the plot did not move forward very much. It would have been nice with a bit more revelations throughout the book.
